The CORPORATE Method
The LIVE 9-week course teaches entrepreneurs how to build a consistent pipeline of corporate work, step-by-step.
As an established, ambitious entrepreneur, you know what you offer is worthwhile, but you’d definitely like to be selling more.
You’re working much harder than you anticipated when you started your own business, spending too much time bringing in new clients, and it’s frustrating to see other small business owners succeeding at an accelerated pace, somehow securing HUGE corporate clients.
What’s their secret?!
Wouldn’t it be great to add a corporate revenue stream to your business? After all, you know what you offer would command a much higher price tag when sold to corporate clients.
It would be nice to feel your small business is having a bigger impact, and corporate and government clients tend to come hand in hand with wider reach and recognition.
And you’re pretty sure it would be a serious credibility boost to be able to share the BBC, Google or National Rail logo on your website.
Then, of course, there’s the obvious appeal of bigger budgets and bulk buying!
Maybe you used to work in the corporate world and you’d like an opportunity to fix some of the problems and challenges you witnessed yourself?
Or perhaps you simply like the idea of belonging in the world of Canary Wharf, private cars and business class travel… and who could blame you?!
But if you’re anything like most of our clients, you find yourself worrying that the big companies you dream of working with wouldn’t even give you the time of day?
And that means there’s more than £50 billion waiting to be claimed by entrepreneurs just like you…
…and where government leads, private corporates tend to follow, meaning that pot is only getting bigger.
What’s more, private corporate and government organisations WANT to work with entrepreneurs, to outsource a level of creativity and fresh ideas that simply aren’t able to flourish in a less agile, corporate environment.
They NEED what you can offer, and they’ve got the budget to pay for it…
PS. This also applies to those in USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Dubai.
…Master the process of proposal writing and learn how to match what you offer to the existing objectives and challenges corporate clients have?
…Easily understand the different routes into working with corporate clients and how to navigate those potentially daunting processes?
…Overcome your doubts and learn to pitch confidently to both private and public sector clients?
We’ve created a bespoke method that takes small business owners step-by-step through the NINE essential components of establishing a reliable, consistent corporate revenue stream.
And we're ready to share the exact steps used to secure long-term corporate projects for us and our clients!
This method has worked for all sorts of businesses including (but not limited to):
Nutritionists & Wellbeing businesses
HR, leadership, coaching & training consultants
African Healers

DEI specialists

Hello, we’re Carol Deveney and Lisa Johnson.
Carol Deveney has worked with corporates for over 20 years, providing professional services in transport consultancy, project sponsorship, sponsor coaching and training.

Now, she helps small businesses learn how to work with corporate or government organisations, determined to demolish the imaginary barriers to entry that so many entrepreneurs seem to think are blocking their path to this lucrative revenue stream!
Lisa Johnson is a globally recognised Brand Strategist, keynote speaker and Sunday Times Bestselling author who has built one of the UK’s most impactful personal brands in the online education space.
Known for her bold honesty and no nonsense approach, Lisa has leveraged the power of brand led strategy to generate over $30 million in revenue in just seven years.
The fact is, we see so many fantastic entrepreneurs shy away from bidding for corporate and government work because they don’t know where to start, don’t know how to price their services, get put off by the paperwork, or perceive the costs and risks to be significantly higher.
Or at least, that’s what they say puts them off.
But the truth is, many entrepreneurs simply don’t believe they fit in a corporate environment…
Despite what you might think: The people who work in Canary Wharf weren’t born wearing Armani suits! They’re normal people, just like you and me, doing their jobs as best they can, and putting their trousers on one leg at a time.
Neither of us come from a wealthy or privileged background, but by building a consistent pipeline of corporate projects and clients, we’ve been able to build those things for ourselves.
And if we can do it - anyone can!
That’s exactly why we created The CORPORATE Method.
We want entrepreneurs like you to understand that the benefits of working with high-paying corporate clients are available to you.
We’ve put together a methodology which brings together Carol’s 20 years of corporate experience and Lisa’s unrivalled business acumen, with the practical tools and behind the scenes knowledge you need to bring your brilliance to the corporate market.

Over the last 20 years, Carol has worked with corporate and government clients all over the world, written and read hundreds of proposals, and sat on the procurement panels for dozens of projects and tenders.
And now, inside The CORPORATE Method, she's giving you access to all of that insider knowledge in order to demonstrate that not only CAN you have the freedom, money and lifestyle you desire, but show you exactly HOW to claim it, step-by-step.
I come from a corporate background, had a few wishy-washy proposals under my belt, and had clients whom I landed here and there with no clear plan or strategy.
Carol teaches pipeline strategy and so much more in a very easy and simple way (I am dyslexic, so this is a big plus) and Carol supports you 100 percent to secure work continually via your pipeline.
Since taking her course, I've won 4+ contracts I'm also more confident in my proposal writing and know my worth.

Spend Less Time Selling:
Corporates plan and book projects well in advance, so you can build a long-term pipeline that cuts down the gaps between work and means less time spent in ‘sell’ mode and more time doing what you love.
Increased Financial Security:
Whatever your services sell for, corporates will pay more! With deep pockets, big budgets and targets to spend more with small businesses, signing corporate clients can keep your bank balance healthy and your financial future safe.
Reduced Stress:
It’s no secret that running a small business can involve a lot of hustle. Higher pay for fewer hours can ease the pressure on you as the business owner, and create more space, time and ease in your life, with more consistent income and less pressure to hunt down new clients.
More Confidence:
Knowing that corporate clients want what you’re selling can be a great confidence boost, and open up a whole new world of options for your business, allowing you to be more intentional about where you spend your time, and more in control of which clients you say yes (and no!) to.
Depersonalise Rejection:
This may not sound like a benefit, but it really is! As small business owners, we can often hinge our hopes on a single client saying yes, but through experiencing multiple corporate tender processes, you’ll learn to hedge your bets and stop taking the ‘no’ so personally.
More Freedom:
Whatever freedom means to you, creating more time, and money will undoubtedly allow you to enjoy more of it. Whether that’s travel, time with the family or the chance to pursue hobbies and interests, a healthy pipeline of corporate revenue will open up more space to fill with what you love.
Lifestyle Benefits:
They call it the jet-set lifestyle for a reason! Corporate work can come with many perks, including travel, networking, luxury and status. In no time, you’ll feel like a true CEO and become a small business owner who thinks BIG. Champagne in the business class lounge anyone?
Build Your Legacy and Generational Wealth:
Working with corporate and government clients and doing a great job is a fantastic way to secure the future of your business and wealth. Once you’re in, you’re in, and the referrals, kudos and repeat customers will be sure to keep you in business!
Develop Rewarding Collaborations and Partnerships:
Learn how to join forces with other small businesses to create a big impact, and build a network of trusted partners and collaborators you can call upon to increase your chances of winning life-changing projects and work you’re proud of.

1. You’re stuck in a feast and famine cycle.
You’re a small business owner whose business currently experiences significant peaks and troughs and you’re looking for more stability in your income.
This course will show you how to add a consistent and reliable revenue stream from corporate clients so you can break that cycle and never have to worry about where your next paycheque is coming from.
2. You WANT to work with corporates but don’t know how to.
You’ve been feeling for a while that your product or service might be a good fit for corporate clients, as well as other small businesses, but you’ve got no idea where you’d even begin with selling to corporates.
This course will walk you through the exact steps entrepreneurs need to take to identify, approach and win dream corporate and government clients, so you can feel confident applying to work with any business that would benefit from what you do.
3. You want a long-term pipeline of well-paid work.
You’re a successful entrepreneur, bringing in business and winning clients, but the gaps between projects are significant, meaning as soon as one deal is closed you have to immediately start prospecting for the next. You want to be able to fully commit your attention to each project whilst it’s live, with a strong future pipeline of work already secured.
This course will show you how to plan on a short, medium and long term basis, using a 3-year project plan so you can secure longer-term, higher-paying projects, rather than chasing quick wins and low hanging fruit to pay the bills.
If that sounds like you…
…you’re exactly who we created this course for!
We're ready to de-mystify the corporate world and help you add a valuable corporate revenue stream to YOUR small business.
Are you in?
Before I worked with Carol, I had no idea about most of it before and I’m now in talks with two organisations at the minute, NHS and the Chamber of Commerce, and have ongoing work with a university.
I’m also working with Carol now 1-1 for even better things!
If you think you can't work with corporates, Carol dispels that myth and you begin to believe what is possible.
What I loved about Carol is that our values align, she is conscious and considerate about everyone's learning styles, and neurodivergence and is calm, professional and generous with her time and knowledge. She is always happy to go the extra mile.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I’m a small business owner with no corporate experience. Where do I start?
A: The journey to building your corporate pipeline will be different for each small business owner, depending on your industry, the clients you’d like to work with, and your offer. Once I understand where you’re at now, I can help you tailor your plan of action to meet the goals you have for your business.
We cover everything about working with corporates in the course, from the early planning stages to execution, and having worked with many small business owners, I’ll be able to quickly assess the steps you need to take to enter the corporate market and help steer you in the right direction.
Q: How do I know how to price myself for corporates?
A: This is always one of the biggest concerns small business owners and entrepreneurs have: You don’t want to undercharge and leave money on the table, or go in too high and miss your opportunity. I completely understand, and that’s why we cover pricing in detail on the course.
We’ll not only cover how to price your products or services for your ideal corporate clients, but you’ll also learn how to communicate those prices without stumbling or nervousness, so you can hold your ground in even the toughest negotiations.
Q: I’m already so busy. What’s the time commitment?
A: You’ll need one hour each week to attend our live training and Q&A sessions, and you’ll need to commit a minimum of one or two additional hours a week to implement what you’ve learned.
Taking action is really important because the more time and effort you put in during the course, the quicker you’ll achieve your goal of winning corporate business, working fewer hours for a higher rate - and therefore the quicker you’ll unlock more time and the freedom you want in your business!
Q: I’m worried I don’t belong in the corporate world.
A: Contrary to what you might think, the people who work in corporate and government organisations weren’t born in suits; they’re normal people like you and me. This course aims to arm you with the tools, knowledge, and mindset you need to thrive in a corporate setting, but I also hope to shine a light on just how much corporates need your entrepreneurial flair.
The unique strengths and skills that make you a fantastic small business owner are exactly what corporate and government clients want to outsource and bring into their organisations to shake things up and add some creativity into the mix.
Q: What if I'm based outside of the UK?
A: This has worked for clients based in USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Dubai.
Q: When does the course start and finish?
A: The first module is on Tuesday 26th May at 7pm BST, then same time every Monday, finishing 20th July.
Q: What if I can't make the dates?
A: Attendance is encouraged as questions can then be answered straight away but if there are sessions you can’t make then don’t worry. All modules are recorded and put into your membership area for you to watch when you can. Questions will then be answered in the Facebook group.

A: You can ask on the online chat on this page or email support@lisajohnson.com and we'll be able to help you.
